My Route

Because it's such a beautiful spring day (and bike to work week as well), I thought I would share my bike route to work. And here it is:

It's actually quite a lovely ride, save for the portion along 38th, which is just a bit busy and bumpy. Riding down Chester/Woodland past Clark Park is wonderful way to start the morning, it's like a brief visit to the countryside on my way to downtown. When I finally do arrive at work, I have 2 safe and secure options to lock up my bike. I can either motor up into the locked parking garage (not very many employees get to park their cars there, but bikes are given free reign) or I can lock up in the camera monitored lot outside. I generally park outside, unless it's going to rain. The ride home is equally wonderful, with slight uphills here and there to give me a bit of an extra workout. I can't wait to try it out on my soon-to-be-purchased new bike. The only question then will be, Fixed or Free?
